Global T140 TV Link 4 Way SKY TV / FM/ UHF Signal Booster Amplifier
Global T140 – 4-way amplifier enables use of up 4 TV links. No mains connection is required as it receives the power from the RF2 of your Digibox. The T Series TV booster/splitters are designed to amplify the UHF (TV) or FM (Radio) signals in a poor signal area or to distribute the TV signals around the house. Typically, these amplifiers are installed in the loft or next to the signal source, e.g. Sky or Freeview receiver. This amplifier distributes TV signals to 4 rooms in the house. This is a good value amp for distribution up to 4 rooms.
The T Series TV booster/splitters are designed to amplify the UHF (TV) or FM (Radio) signals in a poor signal area or to distribute the TV signals around the house. Typically, these amplifiers are installed in the loft or next to the signal source, e.g. Sky or Freeview receiver.
Unlike many RF distribution amplifiers, the Global T series are TV LINK compatible, i.e. they pass power from the Sky receiver onto any connected TV Link Magic Eye Remote Control Extenders. The booster is also designed to carry the return signal from a TV Link remote control extender back to the Sky Digibox. This enables the viewer to watch and control from several locations.
The T120 & T140 (2 Way & 4 Way) can either be powered by a Sky Digibox (from the RF2 port) or via the optional Global Mains PSU or by adding a DC Inserter to the input cable.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Global T140 does not come with a mains power supply. The T140 unit is meant to be powered by the RF2 output on a Sky receiver, or alternatively by an additional Global Mains PSU.
Tips for a better signal quality
Good quality WF100 or WC100 double shielded coax cable should be used with these amplifiers. The better the cable the better the picture and sound will be at the destination TV’s. Cheap, low quality coax cable will cause loss of signal and poor-quality picture and sound.
